We have three spaces which are available for rent: Our main church ('sanctuary'), our church hall (below the sanctuary), and our annex building (a multi-purpose room and kitchen). Each space has a number of long term bookings, but can be booked at all other times. Booking information is found at the bottom of this page. 

Main Church

This is a beautiful space with great acoustics for live music and a stage area which is unusually large for a church this size. It comfortably seats 200 or so and is equipped with a basic sound system. There is parking for 40 or so vehicles.

Cost: $80 an hour. There is some flexibility with rates, depending on the nature of the event and the timing of the booking. Please email to more information.

There is a $200 refundable damage/cleaning deposit. Renters must also provide proof of their own liability insurance.

Note:

  • Washrooms are available in the hall, downstairs from the main church, and are shared with hall users.
  • Accessibility: There is a wheel-chair entrance around the side of the building. However, wheel-chair accessible washroom facilities are located in the Annex building (adgacent to the church).
  • Users are responsible for leaving the space clean and tidy. Any additional cleaning required will be deducted from the deposit.

Availability: Typically unavailable on Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings. On weekday afternoons and evenings, noise levels from other onsite activities may limit its suitability for performance. Church Hall

The Church Hall is underneath the main church, and can hold 120 (chairs in theatre formation), or 80 (around tables). It comes with a fully equipped kitchen (additional fee) and tables and chairs (though please list requirements at time of booking). It is a great space for kids to play and run around in. There is parking for 40 or so vehicles.

Cost: $60 per hour. Kitchen access is $50 flat rate for each booking period. There is some flexibility with rates, depending on the nature of the event and the timing of the booking. Please email to more information.

Note: 

  • Washrooms are located on this level, but are shared with the main church above.
  • There is step-free access from the lower parking lot, though it does not have a disabled access button. 
  • However, wheel-chair accessible washroom facilities are located in the Annex building (adgacent to the church). 
  • Users are responsible for leaving the space clean and tidy. Any additional cleaning required will be deducted from the deposit.

Annex

The Annex is a lovely bright space adjacent to the main church. The bookable space (one meeting room, kitchen and bathrooms) seats up to 50 (theatre-style) or 25 (around tables). It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, tables and chairs and washrooms. There is parking for 15 vehicles immediately adjacent, and up to 40 more in the upper parking lot, close by.

Cost: $40 per hour. 

There is a $200 refundable damage/cleaning deposit. Renters must also provide proof of their own liability insurance.

Note:

  • The building and washrooms are fully wheel-chair accessible.
  • The building also houses a childcare and junior kindergarten during weekday daytimes, and some areas of the building are therefore off-limits.
  • Road access is via Tyndall.
  • Users are responsible for leaving the space clean and tidy. Any additional cleaning required will be deducted from the deposit.

Documentation and Booking

If you would like to enquire about a booking, please email us, stating:

  • Venue (Church, Hall or Annex)
  • Date(s) and Time(s) required
  • The nature of the event, includng whether or not it is ticketed. 
  • Likely attendance

We will respond to confirm availability and cost, and also send you the booking form to fill out, along with the policy document which all renters need to sign.
