Heather will be hosting a five-week Advent movie study on Wednesday mornings during November into December. The focus of the study is Secondhand Lions - a wonderful coming-of-age story about a shy and sad 14-year old boy who's stunted spirit soars during a summer stay with his two eccentric uncles. It stars Michael Caine, Robert Duval and Haley Joel Osment.
We'll have a pre-study showing of the film on Nov 15th at 10:30am in the Sanctuary, or you can borrow a copy of the movie from Heather to watch at home. These sessions have been so enjoyable and enlightening, so please join us. Everyone is very welcome to come and participate as much or as little as feels comfortable....listening and reflecting is every bit as valuable as talking!
