St Dunstan's In-Person Service Attendance – Registration Information

Information needed from you before the service, if you plan to attend on the 19th:

 Name
 Number of people in household group attending (including you)
 Names of all other members of group
 Date of service you are attending
 Contact phone or email, if you are not on the church database

Information for you about the service, if you plan to attend:

I/We understand all of the following:

 I must not attend if I am feeling sick or am self-isolating.
 The service will be about 30 minutes, outdoors (between the church and the rectory) with no
shelter from the sun and/or rain, and there will be no public access to the interior of the building.
 There will be no washrooms available at the church.
 On arrival, I will provide my name and a contact phone number, and confirm that I am feeling
healthy. This information will be retained for 30 days and then destroyed.
 Any gathering is limited to a maximum of 50 people. If I do not register, and there are no spaces
left at the service, I will not be able to stay.
 I will maintain distancing of 2 metres (6’8”) away from everyone not in my ‘bubble’ at all times,
including in the parking lot, and after the service.
 I will obey all signage and directions.
 If I am bringing children, they will stay with me at all times.
 I will refrain from singing or shouting (humming is okay!)
 There will be no ‘sharing of the peace’, communion, or after-service refreshments.
 I am encouraged to wear a mask, but this isn’t a requirement, and others may not be masked.
 If the service is cancelled due to wet weather or any other reason, Jez will send an email or phone
you by 9am on the morning of the service.

Might you (or anyone in your party) be happy to assist in welcoming/stewarding the service? (Jez
would be in touch to explain what's involved before you needed to commit)

Do you have any comments or questions? Please contact Jez: 236 464 2441 or email

These measures are required by the diocesan and provincial public health guidelines. All churches are putting similar practices in place for gatherings outdoors and indoors. The diocesan reopening plan is online in full here.
